TourneyMagic Terms of Service

Effective: October 13, 2026. Written against what the product actually does; every product-specific clause cites the feature it covers.

1. Who we are and what this is

TourneyMagic ("TourneyMagic", "we", "us") is operated by Foxy and the Mamba LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as TourneyMagic. These Terms govern your use of the TourneyMagic website and service at tourney-magic.com (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

TourneyMagic collects publicly listed youth softball and baseball tournament information from sanctioning bodies and event platforms, adds our own estimates about those events and the teams entered in them, and helps coaches and team managers find and plan tournaments.

TourneyMagic is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sanctioning body, league, tournament director, or event platform, including USSSA, NCS, PGF, PGS, NSA, FASA, Triple Crown Sports, USFA, USA Softball, the Alliance, Top Gun, Five Tool, Grand Slam, Perfect Game, Prep Baseball Report, Prospect Wire, and Playbook365 and its tenants. Their names are used only to identify the events they organize. Registration, entry fees, schedules, rules, and results are theirs, not ours.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is built for coaches, team managers, and parents acting for a team; it is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to hold an account.

You are responsible for your login credentials and for everything done under your account. Sign-in is by email and password or by Google. Tell us promptly at support@tourney-magic.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

A team on TourneyMagic can have several members. The person who creates a team can invite others and can transfer ownership. By inviting someone you confirm you are entitled to share that team's information with them.

4. Free trial, subscriptions, and payment

Trial. New accounts get a 30-day free trial. No payment card is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, paid features stop until you subscribe; your data is kept per Section 10.

Subscription. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and in your account settings. Taxes are added where required.

Automatic renewal — please read. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Profile → Billing, which takes you to the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and you keep access until then. For annual plans we will email you a reminder about 30 days before renewal.

Refunds. If you are not satisfied, email support@tourney-magic.com within 14 days of your first charge for a full refund. After 14 days, and for renewals, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. If we materially change the Service to your detriment during a paid period you may request a pro-rated refund.

Price changes. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price increase takes effect on your next renewal.

5. Our data, estimates, and their limits

This section is the heart of these Terms. Please read it.

Tournament listings are collected automatically and can be wrong or stale. Dates, locations, fees, divisions, and entry counts come from third-party websites and may be incomplete, out of date, mis-parsed, or changed by the organizer after we collected them. Always confirm with the organizer before entering or travelling.

Ratings and scores are estimates, not facts. Team strength ratings, field strength, the Tournament Strength Index ("TSI"), difficulty tiers (Comfort / Target / Growth / Stretch), and any "power" or ranking figure we show are statistical estimates generated by our own models from published results. They can be based on a small number of games, on a prior season's results, or on a name match that turns out to refer to a different team. They are opinions produced by software, not a measurement of any team's or player's ability, and no sanctioning body has reviewed or approved them.

Recommendations and season plans are suggestions. The season planner and tournament recommendations are generated from the profile you enter and our estimates above. They are a starting point for your own judgement, not advice, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on them, including entry fees paid, travel booked, or events missed.

Driving times, weather alerts, and emails are informational. Driving times are pre-computed estimates from a third-party routing service. Weather alerts are automated and are not a safety warning; rely on official weather sources and the organizer for cancellations.

Team and roster information. Team names, records, and entry lists are collected from publicly available event pages. We do not store player names (see the Privacy Policy, Section 6). If you believe information about a team you are responsible for is inaccurate, or you want it removed, contact us at support@tourney-magic.com and we will review it promptly.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell, sublicense, or bulk-export our data or estimates; scrape or crawl the Service or its API; use the Service to build a competing dataset; probe or interfere with the Service's security; share one account across multiple teams or organizations beyond what your plan allows; or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that do.

7. Your content

Information you enter — team details, profile answers, home ZIP, schedules, notes — remains yours. You grant us a licence to store and process it to provide the Service to you and your team members. We don't sell it (see the Privacy Policy).

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, and our models, ratings, scores, and estimates are owned by us or our licensors. The underlying tournament facts are not ours and we claim no ownership of them. You may use the Service's output for your own team's planning; you may not republish our ratings, scores, or compilations without written permission.

9. Third-party sites and services

Links to organizer and registration sites lead to third parties whose terms and privacy practices govern your use of them. We use Stripe for payment, Google for sign-in, and infrastructure providers listed in the Privacy Policy; their availability is outside our control.

10. Termination and data

You can close your account at any time from Profile → Close account or by emailing support@tourney-magic.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where practicable. On closure we delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, billing, or legal reasons. Team data shared with other members of a team stays with the team unless the team is deleted.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA, RATINGS, SCORES, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND ALERTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT ANY EVENT LISTING OR ESTIMATE IS CORRECT. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions; in that case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, ENTRY FEES, TRAVEL COSTS, OR MISSED EVENTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THAT PERIOD OR US$100.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, including information you enter about a team without authority to do so.

14. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Otherwise disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email account holders and post the new date above at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the change.
